ABOUT THE PROVIDER
Megan Papandrea, the owner of Orange Tree Pediatric Services, is a doctor of speech-language pathology, licensed in the state of New Jersey and credentialed by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Megan began her career as a full-time speech-language pathologist in 2015 and has been working with children and their families ever since. Megan is a graduate of University of Delaware (BS, 2013) and Kean University (MA, 2015 & SLPD, 2022) where she developed her passion for identifying and treating communication disorders. She also has a post-master’s certification in educational administration. In addition to her work as a speech-language pathologist, Megan is an adjunct faculty member at Kean University.
Megan has experience in the public school, early intervention, and outpatient facility settings. Play-based intervention is her passion: she thoroughly believes that the best outcomes occur while also having fun. She has experience treating a variety of speech, language, and feeding disorders in the pediatric populations. Megan has attended various professional training including PROMPT, SOS Approach to Feeding, Orton Gillingham, CPR/First Aid/AED.
Megan also values the importance of developing a rapport with her clients and their families, as the best way to succeed is when everyone is working together for a common interest. She is constantly amazed by the resilience of the children she works with, and is so touched by the relationships she has developed with her clients and their families over the years. Megan is so thankful to have chosen a career that inspires her daily!
In her spare time, Megan is a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in the foster care system in Union and Passaic counties. Born and raised in Cranford, Megan is excited to continue to be an active part of the community through Orange Tree Pediatric Services!
